During my last year of college, I enrolled in a Family Therapy course thinking it sounded interesting. The first book assigned, The Family Crucible, I read in a day. And then I started our next book, and then the one after that. By the course's end, it became apparent that my graduate work must be in the field of Family Therapy; I had found my passion.
After almost 20 years of clinical practice I am still just as intrigued by the unique landscapes that each family subculture creates. I thrive in helping each client understand themself better, get a clearer picture of where their beliefs stem from, and whether or not long-held beliefs currently “work” for them. I like to help individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds live a more peaceful and fulfilling life. Simple as that.
I am a daughter, a sister, a wife, an aunt, a niece, a mother.
